LMAO ABOUT TO CATCH SOME HEAT. Disclaimer this is from my perspective as a Sagittarius (Scorpio rising, Taurus Moon, Capricorn stellium) and purely who is the most fun for me to vibe with—

Leo placements. My fire sign siblings. FUN! Natural entertainers! Keeps my ever-searching brain totally absorbed. (My husband is a Leo sun, so.)

Aries placements. Sorry it’s a fire sign parade. They are so fucking funny when they’re talking shit, ommmmgggg. And they’re SO good to have on your side in a fight, which my big mouth WILL get me into at some point.

Virgo placements. I am a scatter brain on so many things, and nobody has ever had my back like my detail oriented, archival minded, Virgo Sun Virgo Rising bestie. And also supremely funny and precise when talking their shit!!

Aquarius placements. I have an Aquarius venus so I vibe with that. Also Aquarius Mars is such a fun placement. Try to fight with the person. Jedi mind tricked, side stepped. Incredible.

❌ What's a trope you will never write?

I can’t say there’s much of anything I’m 100% a no go on but pregnancy fic and kid fic aren’t what I consider in my wheelhouse. I know it’s surprising when people realize I work with kids on a professional level, but that’s definitely part of the reason why I’m not interested in writing it (or reading it often TBH) - I spend so much time with kids that it’s like the last thing I want to do with my free time.

🧐 Do you spend much time researching for your stories?

D: Is there a song or a playlist to associate with [insert fic]?

The cop out answer is the 70s AU for which there is a documented playlist. Honorable mention goes to the Buffy AU for which it's just One of These Nights by the Eagles line by line. I will say-- as a bonus track to the twin Cruel Summers of the Camp AU, I did also listen to Night Moves by Bob Seger a lot while writing that fic. It's the right throwback-y, hot and heavy summer vibe, but it's so not a Fexi song (because I'm too baby to not make them end up together).

Oh it's impossible to choose, of course, but I'm feeling nostalgic about Sore Must Be the Storm today and I loved writing them at the the 4th of July:

"Overhead the fireworks burst blue and red and gold and green, and Lexi just turns to watch the lights dance across Fez’s freckled cheeks. She smiles when she sees he’s already doing the same to her, watching the light come raining down out of the sky onto her skin."

jupiter ⇢ do you consider yourself a lucky or unlucky person?

Absolutely lucky! But not in an every day way. I’m a Sag sun, we’re ruled by big daddy luck, Jupiter himself! And my Jupiter is in Cancer, which is a lucky placement anyway, because Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. I’m not out here playing the lottery, but I feel like I did hit the jackpot early on with my childhood friends being so compatible and us all staying so close. And I’ve had a lot of opportunities in my life to chase what I want, or switch paths when I realized that wasn’t what I wanted!
