The elf was not fond of being shot, but then again who was? So many times it had happened and now Kurt was stuck in some back alley way blood rolling down the fur of his arm as he hissed. Tail clamped around the wound trying to stop the bleeding it burned more then he was use to. For he was quite use to being shot. Looking as he did he had the war wounds to prove it. But this time, this time felt different. His head was growing light headed and he was unsure if it was the blood loss or something else.
Really it had been a while since something went wrong. He was doing great really, no bad spells where he binged on alcohol and went to teleporting off tall places. His life was getting more stable. But then again he was a hero and stability never lasted, nor did love. He honestly expected his love life to burn out soon, to turn to nothing as it once had.
Loki was always worried when Kurt went out on missions. He knew the elf could fight, but he was also too damn self-sacrificing. It had been too long since Kurt left, and he couldn’t wait anymore. He knew approximately where Kurt would be and started there.
He was able, with magic, to find the ally the man was hiding in. Frowning, Loki appeared next to him with his arms crossed. “This is why I want to come with you.”
Kurt did the same thing any animal would do when hurt, go somewhere safe. So by the time Loki found him he was hidden on a perch in an abandoned church. The ceiling was open and stares barely visible through light pollution. Barely flinching as he saw the other appear from no where next to him looking peeves he smiled weakly.
"You cn not protect me and follow me everywhere Loki...." He could go on, go into how he was on Alistair list for his love of the odd man or even how he had his own demons of a more literal type that wanted him dead. But he just smiled instead blood oozing from a bullet wound on his shoulder that still needed to have the metal removed.
