We're rolling into the last month of the first half of the year with great momentum behind us. We've got the final artwork for our Spring Ko-fi Rewards, two new pieces of gear that drop from combat encounters in the Waspwood Forest and Hypogean Expanse, a sunny array of yellows to add to the color wheel, and more!

I'll tag this post with the other tags it currently grabs but feel free to recommend additions to the list. Keep in mind though some game titles might be harder to implement if they have a heavy overlap with unrelated content but I will try to make things work with enough tinkering.

To be honest, I haven't really made firm plans for ANYTHING for Mythaura yet. But I do have some ideas!

A while back I did come up with a couple of beasts that I had intended for my starters, but now I'm not sure. I do want them, but at least for the dragon I'm not sure if I want to commit to so much saturated color XD

Also, a number of other colors have come out since I made these two. I do think I want a pastel unicorn of sorts, and I know I want a dragon as well, but colors are yet to be determined. And my third will be a gryphon, but I currently have no visual plans for him!

As for (brief) lore, the three are a little of a family unit at this point. The dragon is a scholar, but his interests weren't considered acceptable by his peers. After being removed from his previous position, he elected to travel and learn more about the world around him instead of finding a new hole to hide in and bury himself in books and scrolls.

While he is deeply intelligent, he's not the most capable tactician. At one point he found himself in trouble, but ended up being rescued by a lightning bolt of pastel fierceness. The unicorn is a wanderer, having left her home of her own free will to try and find an outlet for her restless energy. While she doesn't seek out others to help, she is always willing to lend a hand. She stayed with the dragon for a few days to make sure he got out of the area she'd found him in, and then just... never left him.

As they continued on their journey, bonding over a shared desire to see and go everywhere they could reach, they eventually stumbled upon a grieving young gryphon. His family had recently died to a raid on his home and he had collapsed where they found him after fleeing for days. The two took him under their care, bringing him to a larger city where he could potentially find lodging and care, but on the way they all grew attached to each other and the young gryphon chose to stay with them.

The dragon and unicorn share a romantic bond, while the gryphon fills a more younger sibling role.
