I saw this and spent five minutes asking myself if it was a good idea to push it or not. I ended up deciding it was probably a terrible idea and I should leave it alone.

WHAT THE HELL.
This evening, I went into my bedroom after being in the living room for most of the evening, and noticed a small gold button on the floor, beside my desk. I didn't remember seeing earlier that day, and it didn't come from any of my clothing. Nobody but me has been in my room today - I've been home all day.
I asked my roommate if she knew where it came from, and she goes, "that's so weird, I found one of those exact same buttons, but under my pillow this morning!" Again, it wasn't there when she went to bed last night, and it doesn't belong to any item of clothing of hers.
Nobody has come into our apartment at all since Sunday, and even then it was just a friend visiting that didn't go near our rooms. We lock our doors at all times and deadbolt it when we are both home. I want to know: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON. Could it be a ghost? A serial puppet killer trying to send us a message? A really creepy viral ad campaign for WORN's mending night (first Thursday of every month!)? Is it a bad idea for me to be writing about it here?
I just put the two buttons over my eyes and pretended to be a creepy dead girl and now my roommate is mad at me. "THAT WAS NOT FUNNY ANNA! DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN!"
