I had such an amazing weekend. 💞 I was productive, I took care of me, I spent time with some awesome moms and got some heart-warming hugs from some of my favorite people. Nothing compares to every minute I got to spend with my #princessskylar. I can't believe there was a time I didn't want kids. I can't imagine not having this perfect little girl to care for, to kiss obsessively and to dote on around the clock. I have never been more deprived of sleep or more unconditionally in love with something. Being a mom has completely changed me and I am so amazingly blessed to have the life and family we have grown into (so far......). What an awesome first Mother's Day!

This morning I breastfed Skylar in the bath for the first time. It was almost as I had imagined. I draper her over me skin to skin and lied back, she began to nurse as I poured warm water over her body and held her little bum. Her one hand clutching to my bosom, the other hand dangling to splash the warm bubbly water beneath. With her being sick so much and my supply dropping a little, it was such a beautiful moment. If you can safely do this with your breastfed child I recommend it
