"All your words are but to say: you are a woman, and your part is in the house. But when the men have died in battle and honour, you have leave to be burned in the house, for the men will need it no more. But I am of the House of Eorl and not a serving-woman. I can ride and wield blade, and I do not fear either pain or death." - J.R.R. OP & Apron set
This project took me about a week and a half. My friend will wear it to her birthday party on Valentine's Day.
The OP's sleeves are detachable, as are the hearts decorating its skirt. The heart-shaped central piece of the apron is also removable and can be worn as a decorative brooch on any other dress.
The hand-stitched bows along the hem have tiny pearls at their centers. I dyed the originally white lace trimmings with black tea and a pinch of magenta pigment.
For the fabric, I picked a very light salmon pink eyelet cotton, lined with batiste cotton as per usual. I added a hard tulle ruffle to the skirt's lining so the dress has some natural poof even when worn without a petticoat
Old School Sax JSK
~Presenting my latest completed commission! This JSK features a self-drafted pattern from a client-approved sketch. She requested a sax blue as the main color and a scalloped hem skirt, and I'm very proud of how the scallops turned out!
For the materials, I used a very soft, yarn-dyed cotton with a cute gingham pattern and torchon lace for the details. The dress is fully lined and has a shirred back for comfort. You can see more of my work here!
I had this stunning gobelim fabric laying around for a while and finally someone ordered a dress with it! I used vintage lace trimmings to decorate it, so it's one-of-a-kind! ^_^ Design, pattern and sewing all by myself! You can check more of my work here! (I'm unsure if I want more social media accounts to take care of - as of recently I use only instagram and this tumblr - but do you guys think I should have a side account for posting my selfmade dresses only?)

plaid jsk + black cutsew
Just finished this project! It's a blue plaid jsk and a chiffon cutsew in black. Not for myself, but I couldn't resist styling the new jsk with some pieces from my wardrobe (in the second picture). I also post my work here!
Blouse with detachable sleeves I've made from a client's drawing <3
