Salim is a yapper. And while normally Jason is supportive as vocally as possible, on rough days a listening ear is more than enough. So, Salim sits there and spews all the loving affirmations to remind them both how they've won the lover lottery.

Meanwhile, Jason's hat is renowned to be glued to his head. So, on rough days Salim likes to be able to pet and comb thru Jason's hair. It's softer than it looks but not quite soft; the prickling feeling is nice on Salim's fingertips. Perfect reflection of Jason's vulnerability-- a bit spiky but willingly docile under Salim.

To round it out, Salim is wearing Jason's hat here because it helps him "hear what Jason's thinking." Helps Salim understand what was so difficult that the day while syncing up to know exactly what Jason needs to hear.

Mini-vent

I procrastinated on a many things (again). So posting this to not only to hype up 12 days of Jalim but also hold myself accountable 😅 im in a space where I can quarter-ass a lot of things or spend a good amount of time on a few. Usually i choose the latter, but this time I'm gonna see what i can put out 💪

I think i nailed snowJason's expression imon the first try, i hope it comes out well in the final draft. Also.... I always imagine Salim in cozy knitted wear, BUT I CANT DRAW IT FOR THE LIFE OF ME 🙃 If yall got tips lmk. Also also, pls ignore my janky thumb, i couldnt crop it out without cropping Jason's snowman.
