Woah.
I just opened the shades on my windows and I felt like I experienced what happened when God said, "Let there be light". Y'know the shades that are basically the kind that are a sheet of white opaque pleather wrapped around a spring-loaded tube? The kind that allow no light to enter a room? AT ALL? Those are the kind that are on my windows in my room. I've had my shades pulled ever since the sun decided to peek through the clouds and stun us all with its hot, burning passion for us mere humans, so I haven't exactly seen any source of light other than my computer screen in my cave room since May. I pulled them up today due to the plethora of clouds and rain today and, even though the sun may have been hiding behind a blanket of gray mist, my room is so much brighter now. I can actually see my dresser! WOAH!
