Jan 3 2019 Eye doc: Wear your glasses more, contacts lenses less. Me: But doc, I don’t look as cool in my glasses. 🤷🏽♀️ Eye doc: You remove them daily? Me: If by “daily” you mean... every week or so... I do! 🤓😭🙄🤦🏽♀️😪 #examroomconversations #myopics #vanity #youreSoVain #carlysimon #glasses #contactlenses #girlsinglasses #thickglasses #myopia #frames #lenses #nerdvision #betterchoices #discomfortzone #sleepingincontactlenses #oxygen #tomography #ophthalmologist #scans #dialatedpeoples #dialatedpupils #humanexperiences #beingmyopic #eyedo #eyeexams https://www.instagram.com/p/BsPn5T5FFU2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=10zu97pu5c7og
Chicago is a city that really caters to what I really enjoy doing: eating, drinking, and reading. The Wickerpark and Bucktown area always comes to mind when I'm looking to do all three. For starters this area (which is located right off the Damen blue line) has tons of places for eating and drinking. As a Mexican I'm always in the mood for a good taco, which is why Big Star Tacos is the first place I head to. Because Big Star tends to get a little packed I usually head to another place for drinks. Why stay in one place when there's so many places to try out? In this instance I went with the High Noon Saloon, which boasts a fun atmosphere and a lot of good drinks and food. Lastly I tipped the night off by heading to a Myopics Bookstore, one of the most unique secondhand book shops I have ever been in. All in all it was a damn good weekend.
