Something ends before it begins. The premise was good—communication, a shared fandom—but distance and the internet don't allow for the kind of in-person interactions where you can meet and stroll the streets, hang out in a cafe and drink tea or coffee, or try a dinner for two or three. Unfortunately, that's not part of my fandom life. The world is so small for me personally that I'm content with online communication. Do people just drift apart after 30?
