If you found out someone was so offended by a thoughtless and hateful meme you posted pertaining to a horrible event in their life that they avoided an opportunity to see you would you:
A. Apologize profusely and listen to their pain, assuring them of how it won’t happen again
B. Say that you weren’t talking about them specifically but about someone who probably, maybe lied because you want that to be true and not even contact the person you hurt
C. Talk about your own two horrific events and those of others you know and not be able to connect how your denial hurts all of those people. And still not apologize
