"Oh! hello, Mag. Um… what's with that look?"

Part of the backstory for MyHP involves a love story between Malcolm Abrams and Maggie "Mag" Jones. Initially, when Malcolm first arrives at the Warshaw Academy, he's reluctant to make any friends. That is until he met Mag (…and later Diesel). Despite being reluctant to even be her friend at first, the two end up becoming a couple later on.

This is a scenario that just kinda popped into my head this week revolving around that story. I'm imagining that Malcolm probably wouldn't have paid much attention to the fact that it was February 14th. But that's not going to stop Mag from trying to make him her Valentine.

I'm a bit late for Valentine's Day, I know. But this took a bit more time to put together than I thought it would. And hey, you just can't rush art. But in any case, part of what sparked this was that I heard @malamiteltd hasn't been feeling too well as of late, and I thought a nice Valentine's Day drawing would help cheer him up. Hopefully it will.

Been quite a while since I drew these two. It was meant to be a Valentine's Day picture, but time was not on my side. Regardless, I present the two now, grown up into young adults! They got married after graduating from Warshaw Academy, and they've been going on adventures together since.

Malcolm is sporting a new, non-enchanted coat, ditching a hat altogether. He no longer needs enchanted clothing now that he's awakened the powerful magic that had been imbued in his body. It was that awakening that caused his eyes to turn a striking blue color. He also possesses Lucifer, a black magic orb that is one of the two Forbidden Artifacts. Hearing that a gang of thieves took Lucifer from its resting place, he and Mag stealthily entered their domain and took Lucifer from them. He had since designated the artifact under his command so that no one else could easily take it, only using its destructive power when absolutely necessary.

When Cormac and her had first kissed, back at that frat party, he had been the one to lean down and leave a little bite below her ear. It had been hot in that room, but she had shivered regardless.

Now, here, in the ice cream aisle of the town’s sole grocery store, she was curious to see what Ronald Weasley would look like, shivering and melting, at the same time.
