#myOTPstory is that I didn’t even know Harry Potter existed till GoF came out, and then I wasn’t allowed to have anything to do with it for what felt like forever. Then my friend’s family rented SS when I was over and I LOVED it and demanded that I be allowed to keep loving it, so my dad took me and my sister to see CoS when it came out. Still wasn’t allowed to read the books for a while, so instead I dove into fan fiction, not knowing most of the canon available at that point. I had to piece it together based on what I found in the fics I read, and I STILL get a little confused sometimes, I think because of that.
But it’s also how I found and fell in love with dramione and almost 2 decades later it’s always the OTP that I come back to
