Sansa Stark throughout the ASOIAF Books:
Sansa Stark before:
Sansa: “Poor Jon. He gets jealous because he’s a bastard.”
Arya: “He’s our brother!”
<< Later on, she gets b****-slapped by reality. Her very gallant betrothed, Prince Joffrey ordered to cut her father's head, abused her, and he later broke off their betrothment and married her to Tyrion Lannister. Her mother and older brother were slaughtered at the “Red Wedding”. Her younger sister, Arya is trained as a Faceless Man at the House of Black and White in Braavos. Bran goes beyond the Wall searching for the three-eyed crow, Rickon goes to the Island of Skagos, and Winterfell is taken by the Boltons. >>
<< Let’s not forget that her friends, Jeyne Poole, was forced to work at Petyr’s whorehouse and later married her to Ramsay Snow/Ramsay Bolton, disguised as “Arya Stark”. And Beth Cassel remains a captive at the Dreadfort. >>
“There are no heroes ... In life, the monsters win.”Â
“The Hound is right ... I am only a little bird, repeating the words they taught me.”Â
Sansa Stark now:
“No one will ever marry me for love. But lying came easy to her now.”
“Jon Snow was the only brother that remained to her. I am a bastard too now, just like him. Oh, it would be so sweet to see him once again.”
P.S. btw, Arya is the best Starkling for me. Despite knowing that Jon being a bastard son, she has a very close relationship with him. She is not a judgmental person like Catelyn, Sansa, and even perhaps Robb. Arya considered herself an outsider in the family because of how she behaves and her Stark looks. And at one point, she feared that she’s also a bastard, like Jon, and out of her parents and trueborn siblings, it was Jon who comforted her.
And Sansa, now disguised as Alayne Stone is betrothed to Harrold Hardyng/Harrold Arryn and at some point insults her status as a bastard (just like she did with Jon. And it took her a very long time to empathize with her bastard brother.) unless Petyr reveals her true identity as Sansa Stark in the next book which may or may not be finished.
Aaannnd now I’m wondering... of how Sansa would react if Jon Snow’s death reaches the Eyrie.
