I take it Back...
Okay I take it back, I don't want Sam to go back to his puppy dog-eyed old self. I realize that it is impossible and unrealistic to ask after EVERYTHING he's been through. He is changed and that is the whole point. But that doesn't mean I wish he wouldn't stop being made the bad guy for leaving Dean in Purgatory (drinking demon blood, hangin with Ruby..etc.) I saw a gif the other day showing happy season 1 Sam morph into sad, defeated season 7 Sam and it was so sad. When he finally stood up for himself to Dean in tonight's episode (S8 E6) I was both proud of him as well as sad at some of the stuff he said too. I'm not asking the writers to change his character, I am just waiting for the day when they can fix the yet-again-broken (or at least super-bent) relationship between my favorite set of brothers...
