artfight is now over and i can finally shut up about it, but before i do, here's a summary of how the event went for me this year:
i made 15 attacks total, leaving me with a 42% battle ratio. this is less than last year, and actually the only year since i started playing in 2024 where i didn't manage to keep my ratio at 50%. orz
however, my point ratio is actually 52%! points-wise this is actually my most productive year ever.
73% of the attacks i made were revenges.
now my favourite part - which is what characters of mine were this year's most popular:
general impressions are pretty positive! i'm happy to see that majority of my characters did receive a drawing this year, and that there is a pretty even distribution. looks like a pretty strong cast ^^
overall:
female characters were, on average, drawn more than male characters, but statistically they're not significantly more likely to be drawn.
similarly, human characters were drawn more than "humanoids" (vampires, leshen and other mythical creatures) on average, but there's no statistically significant preference.
the original 5 ocs were drawn more overall, but the new 5 ocs added this year have received more solo art. my old ocs were just put in ensembles more often :>
the characters drawn most often together were amanita and marfa (4 times), followed by licho and zozula (3 times), and yagoda and kirik (3 times. yes, that does mean kirik was drawn exclusively with yagoda. i guess it's the nature of a moon to orbit a planet.)
so in general - we didn't learn shit xd i thought there would be more of a skew towards women but it looks like it's actually pretty balanced.
my biggest surprise this year is that yagoda didn't make it to the podium xd the first and second place were expected, but the fact that the third place was taken by the guy who i designed literally 3 weeks before AF started and the guy who was second-to-last in 2025??? lol. lmao even. (especially funny since yagoda is lowkey beefing with both of them lol she would be losing her shit)
anyway, to the suprise of absolutely nobody, amanita wins another year 🎉
