(The Land of Eternal Winter - 2019-2020)
Role: main character
He the prince consort, and also an army officer. He is Christian, and his life ethic is, on a large scale, pacifism (he believes in self defense, but for example holds that a country should never be the one to start a war, and his ambition is to create reform from the inside), and on the individual scale, loving your enemy (he is placed in a situation to forgive somebody who murdered one of his loved ones), as well as gritted teeth optimism. He has always struggled with feeling "at home" and like he belongs anywhere, but he appreciates that his loved ones make him feel welcome, and does that for them and others, in return.

Role: main character
She is the leader of the second revolutionary movement (anarchist). She grew up in poverty and barely keeps herself above it working jobs (such as, currently, in the mines - she had a severe accident a couple years back and now wears leg prosthetics). She is very stubborn and determined to reach her goals, and has a very strong sense of justice. She isn't quick to trust others, but she will defend those she cares about with her life, if necessary.

Genre: mild steampunk, kinda post apoc but mostly drama (and court drama)
Anatoliy is a prince whose beloved father just died, so he assumes it was an assassination. He suspects the neighbouring king and has him killed, only to later realise he was innocent. He is almost completely overcome by guilt and despair, but ultimately fights to do whatever in his power to not only fix the consequences of his crime, but to also mitigate the effects of the much larger conspiracy at work that he found himself an unwitting pawn in. There are very many side characters, each with their own complex stories, which all tie into the idea that ones desire to change the world may be futile, or even become evil, but we must still strive to do good here on earth despite no rewards in sight. I'd say this is my 2nd "masterpiece" work in terms of writing

The mini bracket (32 items, 16 polls round 1) is about some random drawings I did and which has better designs or whatever.
The big bracket will be a competition between 128 of my OCs (=64 polls in round one, split into 4 parts).
The mini bracket only has polls that last a day. I think I'll do the same for the big poll too but I'll have to wait and see
When I created @best-shapes I hoped it would find its target audience. I did not expect its target audience to include people who loved a shape (or game named after a shape) so much that they had it as their blog title long before my poll existed. I love the internet, this makes me so happy.

(The Imm 14 - 2013)
Role: main character
She is an alien princess. At some point she falls in love with this human guy and it's a controversial thing, and the ending is tragic in that she ends up dying (as a result of leaving the atmosphere of her planet). An alternate ending was that she ended up in some sort of shipwreck and had this fish-out-of-water scenario in which she had to hide and adapt to a completely foreign place.

(The Hacker: Death off the Internet - 2013-2016)
Role: Protagonist (villain protagonist with a redemption arc)
He is an extremely skilled programmer and hacker. He starts the story having stayed awake for almost a week to work on a very powerful virus. He passes out and ends up in the computer world, where he is treated like a Grim Reaper figure (he does get a sick looking scythe too!). At first, this is a power trip to him, until he meets and gets attached to various people in the computer world, only to see them get disintegrated by the Virus, so now he is desperate to fix the destruction he designed, but he finds himself increasingly powerless, and even begins to feel the effects of the Virus on himself.

Hans is a very highly skilled programmer and hacker and his current ambition is to create the most powerful virus, that could allegedly wipe the Internet. However, one day, after a week of sleeplessness, he gets transported in the computer world, where he confronts various characters who represent various programmes or sites etc. His main antagonist (arguably much more morally upright than him) is one Mr. G, who kinda represents the whole Internet. He's helpless to solve the Virus issue alone, so he drags Hans into fixing his own mess. Everybody in the computer world dies by this virus (which consumes them by disintegrating them into 0s and 1s), and Hans is very burdened by regret over his actions. (The rest is spoilers; I do really want to write this for real one day).

Role: minor character
Lev's mother. She remained a tsarist even after the instalment of the USSR, and initially hoped that hiding away in the siberian wilderness would help matters, but as her children grew up, she realised they had to flee altogether. They secretly rode cargo trains until they finally escaped; she still misses her country but she began missing it, as in what it used to be, even when she was still there. As a person, she is motherly, but also very, very fierce.

(The Keeper of the Underwater Graveyard - 2023)
Role: main character
She is the King's daughter, and lives a very isolated life, because she showed herself too curious about the sea. She lives in a sort of pagan society in which creatures such as the mermaids are considered deities (namely of death), and at some point she is sent to her death on the sea, in hopes of calming the devastating sea storms. She survives and manages to flee with Žadgailas, with whom settles into a small island village in which they can worship the true God. Her main arc is turning from a victim into somebody who can stand up for herself, her family and her beliefs.
