Like, c'mon..
things that happened to me today at our first tech rehearsal with costumes (Monday of show week):
the costume uses the wrong kind of corset, and everything is sized to it, so everything is slightly off sized. Also one dress is completely too small in the arms, but we're making do with the other one
My mic kept falling off so I ended up with what I'm pretty sure was the kind I'm allergic to
I broke a ceramic teapot in the middle of the song. It shattered. I felt really bad but had no tears to cry from embarrassment, impressive for me, so that was nice. The hugs I got were nice too
Tripped on my skirt several times
Was late to the last scene we did because I was trying to negotiate backup outfits and had to run across stage, with the result of the last item on this list, which is:
I rolled my ankle going off stage and limped around the rest of the show, which we didn't even complete
Also I lied and said that the reason I was crying when actually showing my director how much the costume didn't fit (because I knew how stressful it was) was because my hip started screaming at me. It wasn't much worse than rehearsal usual, which isn't great, but I feel a little bad about it lol
