Caring for the cast of a musical is an extremely difficult job and requires a lot of work and time. If you do not think you are ready to care for such a demanding pet please do not attempt. 

1. The cast are strange creatures and will make strange requests, like wanting lemon juice to gargle. Try your best to accommodate them because and angry cast is something you do not want.

2. The cast are very vocal creatures so be prepared for them to hum constantly, and break out into song at random intervals.

3. Compliment them. They feed off applause and if you, their master, compliment them individually they will be much happier and more prone to be nicer to you.

4. Wear black. Cast use brightly colored costumes to identify themselves and other members of cast and unless you want to go through their strange initiation rituals, WEAR BLACK.

5. Keep a Pen Light on you at all times. The cast live mostly in the dark and can only stand bright light for a few minutes at a time (cast members that do not fit this are called Leads). While they sit in darkness does not mean you have to,too! Especially when moving use a light as to not step on a stray cast member.

This cast is amazing! Wish I was on that flight - I would have made them sing the entire musical.
