No one’s ever been able to match my level of cryptid-brand chaos like you. No one better to go to super hell with!)

Some fun experimental stuff that wound up turning into a full-on drawing. Unreasonably pleased with how this one turned out!

They could make their form perfectly passable if they tried, but due to their recklessness and desire for risk and adventure, they prefer to allow a number of subtle oddities. Too-symmetrical scales, strangely dark coloration, unnatural patterns that change when you don’t look... things just wrong enough to create a sense of uncanniness, but not immediately blow their cover. Unlike real Southerns, who are overwhelmingly noisy, this creature remains unnervingly silent; they keep their mouth shut at all times, so as to avoid showing off their less-than-typical internal anatomy.

did absolutely nothing all day and felt unproductive, so I finally pried open my art program and created what is possibly the best piece of my entire career. my magnum opus. it perfectly encapsulates me and the accomplishment i felt directly after completing it

Haven’t drawn lineless art in absolutely forever, so I took a crack at it again today. Not half bad, I think! There are some parts I’d change if I went back to redraw it, but overall I’d say I learned a lot from the endeavor.
