Alec enjoyed the bar scene. Especially this particular bar. There wasn’t anything special about it. The alcohol was sub par and the crowd never seemed to completely drown out the shitty pop music that played throughout he small establishment. It all came together for an ambiance that couldn’t be recreated anywhere else. Not 5 stars but then again, most places he frequented weren’t.

A new presence to his right catches Alec’s attention. Not an ordinary one either. It stood out from the regular humans enough to attract his interest as well as gaze. Ah, tonight might be fun if one of his own was around!

 A day of idle wandering around the city had passed and there wasn’t much left to do but go home. The evening was still young though and Alec hated wasting it inside. 

A detour in the park was the answer to that predicament and Alec finds himself at a bench, trees spaced away enough that a clear view of the sky could be seen. The last raise of light were falling and the first few stars had already started to twinkle.

Alec lets his head fall back, looking up at the night sky with little interest. A sight he’s seen thousands of times. It was pretty but predictable. With a sigh he closes his eyes only to open them again minutes later. A faint sound not too far off catches his attention.

“Hm?” Alec lifts his head up, gaze flicking in different directions. Ah, there. He spies the other and smiles. Maybe the night wasn’t going to be as dull as he thought.

Alec chuckles as he crouches down to help the young boy. It was a nice compliment to be mistaken for one though (at least he’d take it as one). Truthfully his expertise didn’t go any further than being able to spot an injury. Which seems to be the case here, the other’s knee scrapped up to the point it was colored a lovely shade of red. 

“Nah, not a doctor. Just a concerned passerby.” With a small grin he holds a hand out to help the other up. The poor condition of the sidewalk in the area was enough evidence for Alec to keep any questions about the fall quiet. Large cracks had formed in the cement, age wearing down the worst parts to be like pot holes for feet.

Alec had walked up to the large but old familiar house he hadn’t seen what seemed many years, his mother having called him earlier to tell him his friend had came over to help cook dinner. Walking onto the porch he knocked on the door and took his uniformed cap off,holding it in front of himself.
