Muse at Tons of Rock 2025
It took me a day to recover from my emotions. I’m feeling so down right now and I need to talk about how great the boys were. Like, the energy they have, it’s absolutely mind blowing. And they looked so happy to be there ! I mean, I probably shouldn’t compare bands, but honestly, I’m going to anyway, because Dream Theater was on before Muse and. And. I don’t know much about them, except their reputation of being technically gifted (which from what I could see is definitely true) but their singer, James LaBrie, seemed miserable the whole time he was on stage. I don’t know if he’s always like this but woah. I almost felt bad for him. The rest of the band seemed happy though !
But then, here comes Matt with his happy skipping, his goofy dances, his smile and just. He lit up the stage with his presence. I’m so in love with him. Dom being the sweetheart he is and Chris and his quiet strength. They were so beautiful. Being at the barrier is really a different experience. I was so close. This band could turn me into a poet, I swear to god.
Unravelling live sounds so good. I got to hear Stockholm Syndrome and New Born live and it will live in my body forever. Also I talked to a few Musers there and it felt incredibly good to be surrounded by other fans who are just as passionate as I am. I heard that the crowd was a bit dead but obviously the first few rows were on fire. Now I just want to go back and live in that moment forever.
(And also just a quick shoutout to Electric Callboy for being amazing showmen, because that was incredible and I won’t forget it either wow)
I wish I had been better prepared to take videos, but at least I have this (in all its 720p glory, thanks Tumblr). ❤️🔥
