Golden Flare had left the village as soon as she could, figuring it would be much easier to ease this insufferable sudden heat without being near the other kirin. Or at least keep her mind off of it. For a while it had even worked, her mind more focused on the beautiful forest that surrounded her home and the scenery it gave.
But of course that couldn’t last too long, not when she would much rather things be safe. She could see the familiar form of Cashmere trotting her way, stopping her in her tracks. Her mind thought back to their first meeting together, causing her tail to lift up in her body’s excitement. She wracks her mind, trying to decide whether she should turn back before he can spot her. Yet she couldn’t help but wonder if he might want to aid her at all... Sucking in a sharp breath, she remains in place, putting on a friendly smile for him despite the way her body almost trembles.
