Starter for @murray-magnesium
Essek is definitely having a bad day. The whole day hadn't been bad, he'd started out the morning having breakfast with Caleb, before teleporting to Issylra to meet up with a certain dunamis-infused member of Bell's Hells for further research. No, the morning had started wonderfully, but now it was officially taking a turn for the worst.
Examining the Beacon-like slag glass in Ashton's head in the hopes of learning more about dunamis and it's interactions with the universe and living beings, Essek found himself pulled away to endless possibilities. A choice here, slightly different timing there and he saw hundreds of alternate versions of himself, spiraling out into the universe.
The problem had occurred when he attempted to push further than this.
Essek didn't know exactly what the problem was, but he found himself standing in what appeared to be a university office in front of a very shocked dwarvish woman and feeling something similar to his experience with Teleport mishaps.
"Well, that could have gone better."
