So, we already decided to have her brought in because Blaire followed up on his proposal to experiment on female patients--introducing a single test subject in the hopes of being able to show the rest of Murkoff good enough results to bring in more and ultimately increase profits. The part I'm getting a little stuck on is why her in particular? Plus, there's the whole mindtheft thing, which might throw a bit of a wrench into stuff possibly?

So, one thought i had is that Blaire somehow finds out about her and what she can do--possibly even comes to the conclusion that her unique abilities might react favorably with the Morphogenic Engine therapy--approaches her and convinces or coerces her to undergo the treatments of her own volition. It would certainly be possible: offer to compensate her, emphasize to her how much good this research has the potential to do, maybe don't mention this whole project got started with the Nazis... that could probably do it. Since Billy Hope apparently wasn't a patient at Mount Massive and agreed to join Project Walrider in exchange for a pack of lies about financial security for his mother, obtaining voluntary test subjects this was seems to have a precedent.

Alternate thought: she turns up at a hospital near Mount Massive, listed as a Jane Doe  after repeatedly refusing to give anyone her name, emergency contacts, or even any information regarding whatever injuries she's incurred. Either Blaire's got someone watching the hospitals for potential test subjects to grab (particularly ones with no family, that no one will miss), or at some point she freaks out about the possibility of someone touching her and--under the impression that she's having some kind of mental breakdown--someone at the hospital calls up to Mount Massive all, "Hey, somebody come take this chick off our hands". In this instance, her abilities might be written off by the original hospital and the scientists at Murkoff (and Blaire, probably) as a phobia of physical contact combined with some persistent delusions, and might end up causing some problems. Could be fun.
