Belgariad Fancast- Cthol Murgos
Most hated of all the races, the Murgos have no friends, many foes and nothing to lose. Â In a continuous state of war with the rest of the West and cut off both geographically and political from any Eastern aid, the Murgos stand alone against a world that loathes their very existence. Â The most zealous servants of the mad god Torak and the source of many of his priesthood, the Murgos are ruled by the deranged house of Urgas, noted for its heredity madness that only grows worse with age.Â
Taur Urgas, King of Cthol Murgos (Danny Trejo) was arrogant and not particularly sane. Â Noted for beating his wives and chewing on the carpets when enraged, Taur Urgas harbored no lost love for the West or his allies, only brought to heel by the force of Torak himself. Â Taur Urgas finally fell in battle with Cho-Hag, King of Algaria at the Battle of Thul Mardu, ending a long rivalry in a pool of blood.
Lady Tamazin, (Thandie Newton) one of the many wives of Taur Urgas, walks with a limp from years of of abuse at her husband's hands.  Upon Taur Urgas's unmourned death, she supported her sly son, masterminding his grab to the throne over his much brawnier brothers while harboring a secret of her own. King Urgit, (James Callis) is a small, cowardly man with little ambition beyond staying alive to see the next sunrise.  Strong armed into the kingship as a matter of his own survival, he defeated and killed all of his brothers in the traditional Murgo matter.  Fatalistic now, thinking himself doomed to the family curse of madness, Urgit plays a fine political balancing game between the forces of the Grolim priesthood and the Malloreon threat. He bears a striking resemblance to Prince Khledar of Drasnia, down to the twitching tips of their noses. Prala, Princess of the House of Cthan, (Lana Parilla) is headstrong and aggressive, a counter balance to the typical demure Murgo woman.  She manipulated Urgit into marrying her, with his mother's blessing, and is the catalyst behind many for the changes that are to come for the Land of the Murgos.  She loves Urgit and he loves her; their relationship is a constant battle of the wits.
