Eldest Brother Spamton notes from To My Darkest Failures Ever Dared, my Deltarune fic that i wrote in like a fugue state once before DRCh 3/4 came out. I have been thinking about it again like, non stop, for the purposes of considering where Tenna fits in.

(Obviously since the fic is Pre 3/4, Tenna is not in it. And i've been passively jotting down ideas and stuff to maybe get to a Sequel story, and a bunch of those came up with Tenna obviously and 3/4 in general, so it might come about actually, where as before it was purely hypothetical. find above my general headcanons about how a B plot with Tenna might have gone in conjunction with the unravelling of Darkest Failures. Potential story in the future, maybe? There's like, already a chunk of it written, mostly freeform unedited, but like, you never know. might develop one day. especially if i keep fucking obsessing about Spamtenna for no reason.)

so since i've been obsessing, i decided to go about trying to draw that difficult motherfucker. Spamton Hell. among dozens and dozens of doodles while messing with au details that never made it into the story, these are like... the slim few i wouldn't keel over from letting anyone see. That is to say... not going well, haha.

meantime? im like, frothing at the mouth again about this stupid AU where Spamton is an elder brother, and has underachieved deeply-coded needs to take care of people he might consider family but never manages to be anything he wants to be. And also shaking around my beloved "Your passion is to make and create, but built for profiting, and lacking soul, so you might as well just settle for fixing." and also "incredibly social bird who should not be isolated under any circumstances accidentally isolated violently. oops now he's got incredible issues with bonding and closeness. oops, now he's being manipulated into making that shit worse. oops!"

Uh. Anyway.

TLDR:

No, the baby never actually consumed any of the black market pharmaceuticals. Silk (his 'caretaker' i.e. the addison he 'spawned' to) may have done like... a lot of shit not well, but i think she was incredibly strict in teaching the little freak that started following her NOT to comsume the incredibly dangerous merchandise. She also probably got pissed if he was caught playing with them. She would, however, sometimes sit with him and explain some various contraband and chemicals. Mama Bonding Time!

As a result, this fucked up little man would grow up to know a LOT about cars (preloaded data!) and drugs. That last one never really helped him much, thanks to Silk he kinda had a crash course in why drug abuse is bad and for scrubs and a waste of money.

[It's not at all weird for a particularly fresh addison to be walking through the city completely naked. Little spawns can appear at any time, and no one is ever prepared, (not even the truly hopeful!) some young addisons may also refuse clothes for a week or two (feels weird!) as well. This is usually rectified rather quickly for health and safety reasons, and young addisons tend to adapt fast because of instincts to accessorize (bird brain). Spam went... longer than is considered normal living as a Nakey baby, and this is mostly because Silk was forgetful, low income, refused to take her scary weird white baby outside, refused to go anywhere near the established Services for helping new spawns (she IS a criminal), and she also wasnt entirely mentally well.]
