Never thought I could hate a character more than grape gremlin from BNHA but I guess Waganma managed to steal his throne
Sort of a headache thought (shower thoughts, but with a HEADACHE) but I really think Genos will manage to break his limiter and go beyond the capabilities of his mechanical body.
He says heās after total destructive power, but what he seems to seek more than anything is the ability to protect others - which is what he wanted during the fight against Elder Centipede. He wants the power not to destroy, but to protect, and his biggest limit right now is his body, so easily broken.
Which is 100% why I think the way he will remove his limiter- if he ever will manage to do so - will be through learning, or finding the ability, to repair himself and upgrade his body and weaponry. Eventually, of course, and definitely not soon. But he might.Ā
And we already caught a glimpse of that, through the same fight I mentioned before. He got cut in half, but somehowĀ he managed to put himself back together. No welding marks, no signs of his previous injury. I highly doubt it was a mistake on Murataās part (letās be honest, the guy is super meticulous with details) or the centipedeās acids.
I know this is too far fetched to be true, but itās a thought / theory I like to entertain. Heās growing more human by staying with Saitamaās, and heās forgoing being a merciless destructive machine for seeking the power to protect. Iād really like to see this kind of development for him.

SO I finally managed to watch episode 1 of season 2 (Iāll move to ep2 now) and honestly itās exactly as I expected. Itās not the same as season one obviously, not being done by Madhouse, but I donāt understand the complaints about it lookingĀ āterribleā andĀ āhorribleā andĀ āpoorly animatedā.
Yes, thereās been a downgrade on a few parts, that much is undeniable. But the new studio is going through quite the lengths to emulate the style of the first season, and theyāve been putting additional effort into animating things and effects like the water, the steam and so on. The only one thing I can complain about is that the pacing feels a bit rushed compared to season one, too many scene cuts from one side to another - genos fight > saitama and king back and forth - and yes there are a few frames that havenāt been done wonderfully - but havenāt some frames been trash in season one too?
S2 is enjoyable enough to me, the animation is still fucking stellar, and anyone that complains about it being trash can watch dragon ball super and then come back to me afterwards. See what a really trash anime looks like.
EDIT - Iām done watching episode 2 and everything I said stands even stronger. Episode 2 is heaps better than episode 1, itās like they upped the animation a lot in the span of a single episode. Itās good. Itās great.Ā
Letās be thankful and appreciative of the animation team since theyāre putting so much care and love into making S2 despite the super high expectations that S1 gave them to meet, instead of whining about every single little flaw.

Iāve decided to rewrite chapter 5 almost completely because the previous one just... flowed terribly.
Hopefully Iāll have it done soon-ish so I can update \v/Ā
I also want to make you aware of some absolutely wild dream I had a few nights ago (let me tell you, antidepressant dreams are out of this world)
Someone had messaged me on this blog to critique my fic, and their message was

Donāt even ask me why but the 2/36 rating of my fic still makes me laugh
I wanted to post chapter 5 of my lil fic, but the more I wait and think on it, the more I want to rewrite the chapter entirely.Ā
Last year I was absolutely eh at writing and in the past year despite all odds and difficulties, Iāve become more patient and generally better at writing, so...
On one hand I could post the update and keep working on a buffer for chapter 7 and 8, but keep a slightly trashy chapter 5.
On the other hand I could rework partially or entirely chapter 5 to make it better and more enjoyable, but delaying future chapters.
