so in comparison simon is like so normal and functional that its almost comical.

like ill admit, simons reaction to alvin coming out as bi? that was a total fucking trainwreck. like as a bisexual obviously that was hurtful but i do genuinely feel that simons learned and grown from this, his apologies were like actual apologies (yes, even if it seemed really fucking hard for him to admit he was wrong, he was like 17 and it wasnt even the bi thing it was The Alvin Thing, im willing to extend him that grace bc i think a sincere apology that feels like pulling teeth is worth more than a false apology thats pretty), and from what ive seen on his socials he seems really committed to his new role lecturing at pomona even if his tiktoks about it are kinda cringe.

i respect his decision to step out of the limelight and its actually kind of a bummer people are dunking on him about it? i mean, the fucking vocalist from the offspring has a phd in like molecular biology i think?

listen im not saying brittanys perfect im just saying the criticism she gets is disproportionate to the boys yk? shes still targeted by misogyny, shes still held to a totally different standard. at least shes been running her mouth less since her pivot to acting.

i mean, shes still bitching and moaning but now its about her not getting roles 😭 like babes you said outright in an interview you spent more time learning how to cry on command than you did on learning your lines???? maybe work on that one first? its easier to have them sort out the fake crying than it is to have them sort out an actress who wont even read the script properly beforehand.
