the new zealand piss man is my favourite cryptid
Saw a ranking list on which Mercs were the most dilf like and Sniper was rated pretty low and called not a dilf.
And I can understand that as he doesn't seem the type you would imagine as a dad. But if he became one my god would he give such dilf vibes. You know everyone would be telling them "Your dad is hot." And they'd be looking at him emptying piss jars like "NO NO HE ISN'T LOOK AT HIM HE'S GROSS-"
"He's such a rugged bush man."
"NO!!!!!!"
Sniper design
Whenever Sniper tilts his hat to signify that he's ready to pull out his weapon, he turns into a sort of a shadow man that you can see if you closely inspect him, the indication that a shadow sniper is in the midst is if there's a slight fog coming from a high place. This design is due to him being in high places where you won't usually see someone utilize unless you're a Sniper
Technically the truth

The Australian was surprised when he had closed the door of the hidden base he and his team reside in when he found the [Hair color] haired merc that was sitting on the sandy terrain, staring at nothingness. The Sniper concluded that maybe the merc was lost in his thoughts and was about to just merely walk away when he looked back at the [Hair color] haired merc to see him took something out of his coat's pocket.
In some other times, the Australian would have minded his own business, but this time, Sniper was curioused. Curious, as one of the (most) secretive men in their team beside himself and Spy, this was an opportunity to get to know the merc. The Australian also had been reminded that if he had saw the [Hair color] haired merc, he should tell the merc about Engineer requiring his assistance. So, the Aussie decided to approach the man.
"Oi, 'gent? aren't yah supposed to be doin' somethin' 'mportant?" Came the voice behind him. The [Hair color] haired man merely shrugged as he continued to look at the scene in front if him, the view of the dirty yellow and brown sand as he watched nothing in particular, not minding the footsteps of a certain Aussie coming closer until the bushman had just sat next to him.
Silence the two were as Sniper didn't know what do to or what to say as he wasnt really a social one, not to mention the merc beside him seemed to be lost in his own thoughts. As more minutes of silence passed, the Aussie noticed something in the [Hair color] haired merc when he had took a quick glance at him.
"Wot yah got dere?" Sniper had asked as the [Hair color] haired man narrowed his eyes to the Australian for a minute to see the bushman momentarily freeze but was nevertheless curious (completely forgetting about Engineer's request on telling the [Hair color] haired man that he needed assistance), then the [Hair color] haired merc's gaze turned to the photograph in his hand. It was a very old photograph, one with some folds and creases here and there and also some rips on the edges of it but still had a clear photo of a little girl who's blonde hair was braided into twin pigtails, wearing some pastel pink overalls and a white shirt and a man wearing a plain white shirt aswell with blue pants, hair a bit of a mess yet still looking alright and happy with it, both of them are.
The blonde girl who's probably no older than four or six, her eyes were closed but that bright toothy smile that made clear that she had a small gap, making it known that she had lost a tooth or two. The little girl was parched on a [Hair color] man's shoulders as she had gaved a peace sign while her other hand gripped the tresses of [Hair color] locks while the man had placed both his hands on the little girl's thighs to not have her fall off of his back, a large grin on his lips as he looked at the camera, both of them were as they seemed to be happy in the photograph.
The background was mixed with brown, yellow, blue, and white. The two latter obviously being the sky but looking closer at the yellow and brown, it was flowers. Sunflowers to be exact and it made the photograph more intriguing as it seemed to have been taken where a field of sunflowers grow to have such many of those flowers in the photograph.
The [Hair color] haired merc's lips twitched as he gazed at the photo.
"Just a photograph, luv," the [Hair color] merc had answered to the bushman's query. "Just a photograph of the past," he softly said as his smiled turned into a small forwn which didn't go unnoticed by the Aussie beside him but Sniper merely kept his mouth shut and just nodded at the [Hair color] haired merc's brief explanation.
It was silence again and neither were the two wanted to continue the conversation. Sniper sensing that the photograph might have been a sensitive topic for the [Hair color] haired merc beside him. The silence was rather, indifferent. It wasn't calming nor tense, just in the middle which was a good sign as the Aussie didn't want to overstep his boundaries with the [Hair color] haired merc as the man was very respectful with his own. All of the other team were, well, not really all as there was Scout, sometimes Soldier and Demoman aswell but nevertheless, the bushman didn't want to have some bad blood with the [Hair color] haired mer--
"You know," the Aussie heard the [Hair color] haired man had said out of the blue, knocking him out of his thoughts as Sniper looked at the merc beside him with a raise brow, clearly confused yet his confusion slowly dissipated when he saw the [Hair color] haired man was gazing lovingly at the photograph in his hand with a soft smile on his lips. "It's her birthday today," the [Hair color] haired man had said, still continuing to look at the photograph.
"How... how ol' is she?" Sniper had asked after a few moments of hesitation. Looking at the [Hair color] haired man who had finally shifted his gaze from the photograph to the view of the blank desert in front of them. "Little Amy would have been eleven," the [Hair color] haired man softly said.
"Would 'ave?" Asked Sniper, clearly had noticed the used of past tense in the merc's words. If he only knew why the [Hair color] haired merc had used them, the Aussie wouldn't have asked it. Sniper had bit his bottom lip when the merc beside him turned to look at him, a smile on his face but the Australian had noticed that the smile didn't reached on the merc's [Eye color] eyes. Instead, those pool of [Eye color] were rather displaying regret, sadness and... and grief.
"Yes, would have... she... she had passed three yeard ago... well, four now," the [Hair color] haired man had said as he softly muttered the last part to himself as he had left a pathetic laugh out of his lips as he turned away to look at the photograph in his hand again.
"Oi'm sorry," Sniper had apologized as looked at the man in worry and pity. Hesitantly reaching out to the [Hair color] haired man and placed his hand on the merc's shoulder, a sign of comfort which the Aussie didn't really know what to do.
"Don't be, luv," the [Hair color] haired had said as he continued to stare at the photograph in his hand. His [Eye color] eyes staring blankly at the piece of paper that held so much importance to the [Hair color] haired man, those eyes of his hiding his sorrow and pain.
"I was the one who's at fault after all."
