@bvckbiter here! this is an askblog/semi-rp (im gonna figure things out along the way, this is my first time doing smth like this LMAO) for my pjo oc, nasrin amani.

as nasrin is thanatos' aide at DOA Recording Studios, feel free to ask her about anything work-related—which honestly just means anything death-related. that's a lot of things. you can also ask her personal questions... but i cant promise she'll be very generous with details 😏

Emmy was not going to allow herself to be impacted by the words of some boy, let alone one who didn’t even know her! She didn’t care about what he had to say, it’s not her fault he has nothing better to do with his sorry life! 

The grip on her pencil was perhaps too tight.

She didn’t care. She didn’t care. She didn’t care.

The pencil snapped in her hand, her attention only being drawn by the sound.

She tossed it to the floor with the rest of the trash, things to be picked up when she wasn’t having some outburst over something stupid. Ones that’d only seemed to become all too common as of late. Maybe it was part of being a teenager, but Jem was never like that. Jem was never like her at all.

It didn’t matter. What mattered was finishing her piece for the art festival, having hobbies, things she enjoyed, something she was sure that boy knew nothing about.

Maybe she was forgettable.

It seemed to be a recurring trait in her family after all. The life's work of an ancestor lost to time, along with practically his entire existence aside from a few books. Her parents, too. Not a single thing about them. She’d never asked. She’d never cared. Was that all it took? Someone who didn’t care? Someone who pushed down every question, every feeling, anything that had ever come to mind?

Someone like her?

She hated to think about it. Hated how much it burrowed under her skin and destroyed her from the inside out. It told her nothing ever mattered. All it took was someone who didn’t care, and oh, how easily that could happen. A child who couldn't remember, didn't want to learn, and had no one to tell them, even if they did.

No matter how far she climbed, the reward of a place in the endless crawl of history would always be too far from her grasp. So fickle, so easy to slip away in but a moment.

OOC: Not Kukki related, but still AiB related so I think it's okay if I post it here. Just a little something I drew for fun in Paint with my mouse, out of boredom, to see if my muscle memory is still good (my digital art journey as an artist actually started in MS Paint, so it was interesting to revisit it after soo many years). Ended up liking the result and I am glad I did finish it! ^^ Even if it's minimalistic, I'm still proud of it, given that I drew the sketch with my mouse (for the lineart and shell shading I used the vector line tool). So, I thought sharing it with the rest of you too. Hope ya'll like it too. ^^
