A few hours ago, Mumbo, with his new suit, new bald spot, and stachless face, went to the shopping district, so he can figure out what to do with the now sold out Buy Mumbos Bits Store, when he had suddenly face slammed into a pillar that was not there before.
"My word-?" He rubbed his nose and looked up, seeing another pillar that led even higher "Why is this here?" He questioned, flying up with his elytra.
While in the sky, he looked down and saw... a portal? Wait, he knew that portal! He quickly landed on the quartz platform and stared at the portal.
"How did you get here I wonder?" He mumbled, and forgetting how he looks, he jumped into the portal and came out the other side.
Mumbo breathed in the same fresh air in this other world, before he grabbed his rockets and flew high into the sky, before setting off towards Grian2s base.
Currently with Gri2, he was just coming back after collecting the diamonds Isk2 gave him as he bought a ton of leaves.
Gri2 was about to continue excavating the entire mountain when he heard a voice.
Recognizing that voice, he turned around, before jumping in fear "HUH???" It was Mumbo? What on earth happened to his clothes?? Actually what happened to his face???
Mumbo landed on his feet and stared at Gri2 with a grin, "Wh... what happened to your face?" Gri2 asked quietly. Mumbo didn't realize immediately, but he did reach his hand up and touched his face- oh God he forgot.
"Actually, let's go back to my hobbit hole first" Gri2 said, dragging Mum2 by the hand back to his base.
Once they got there, Gri2 had Mumbo sit down at a table he just made and gave him a carrot, now we're back at the beginning.
"You see, I got very low on diamonds, so I had to sell my clothes, mustache, and my hair, so I can have my diamonds back." Mumbo explained to Gri2
"Well, did someone buy your hair? It is still on your head" Gri2 asked, pointing at Mumbo's black hair. "Ah, well..."
Mumbo slowly turned around and showed the mustache shaped bald spot "My Grian bought my hair and only gave me a mustache shaped bald spot" he said, slowly dying inside.
"You're very unlucky, quite similar to our Mumbo" Gri2 giggled, making Mumbo curious "What do you mean by that?"
"Well," Gri2 started "-because he got poor, he did the same thing as you, but instead, he got more bits than he bargained for..." he trailed off, reaching into his pocket and grabbing a picture he took of Mumbo(2) when he wasn't looking and showed it to Mumbo.
Mumbo looked at it and was surprised, Mumbo2's hair was long, it started to look like a mullet, his sleeves look very very with two other sleeves overlapping his first sleeve, his mustache? Gigantic, took up nearly his whole face.
"Quite... unfortunate, I must say. At least he doesn't have to deal with a bald spot. Mumbo sighed, before jumping at the sound of a bell going off.
Gri2 smiled and got up, walking over and grabbed the book in the chest that's in the minecart. "Oh, looks like he let me win"
"At knoughts and crosses?" Mumbo leaned over his shoulder, looking at the book "Yeah, oh well." Gri2 crossed out the final one and won the game. "Well, that was fun, I gotta give him something in return..." he muttered, going off into his chests, looking for his items.
Mumbo looked at the time, and realized he kinda maybe overstayed his welcome.
Putting on his elytra and grabbing his rockets, he looked at Gri2 "I gotta go now, I still wanna finish my own stuff. Talk to you later!" With that, he flew away. Gri2 looked back at where Mumbo flew off, before sighing and sending the minecart and chest back to Mumbo2, with a letter and a diamond.
While this happened, neither saw the two glowing purple eyes that watched them from the unknown, which slowly disappeared.
