Mumbo Jumbo is attempting to create immortality, like a perfectly stable person. With a singular test chicken at his side, the possibility of terrible things going wrong is high — but that’s a risk Mr.Jumbo is willing to take. How far would one go to create immortality? Would it be to risk their entire life? Their pride? Their humanity?

Huh, how strange.. Seems like the hermits haven’t heard from him in quite a while ..?

howdy friends heres another commission i just did for @paradexs-jar! you were great to work with and your designs for these two funky block men were a blast to draw :O

Mumbo woke up in a maze, he had walked for an hour, maybe even two. He couldn't find an exit and he couldn't find a difference in the white walls with black lines. He was absolutely lost.

Until the line changed colors, as Mumbo walked the line changed to red. He must be getting closer to an exit, right?

The red line wasn't in some of the paths, so Mumbo didn't go down them. Instead he followed down the red halls until he found something. A chest with a book inside.

The book had words messily written inside but it was still readable. so Mumbo read what the book had to say.

"Don't follow the purple lines. Theyr traps. once you get to a room that has grass you need to stay there, that is the middle. the middle is the ony safe place in the maze, it can't get you ther."

This worried Mumbo, he had thought this was another prank when he woke up, but what if he was wrong?

Was the book telling the truth?

It seemed rushed, was this person in danger?

Was Mumbo in danger here?

..

Yup, here it is, a PAST LIFE AU, Oh my god (cheeringgg) (woo!!)

This was based off a joke mostly, because I’m coping with Mr.Jumbo not being in Past Life😭

Explanation:

“Mumbo has disappeared a few weeks before the next life series, none of the hermits know where he’s gone. And Grian HAS the suspicion that past life is coming …

So he’s expecting Mumbo to be there.

Time passes, and they finally are brought to Past Life through portals. And Grian’s expectations are shattered after he realizes there’s NO signs of Mumbo, at all. And now, Grian and all the hermits are wondering:

“Where did he go?”

(The au name gives the answer/j)”

Go absolutely crazy, we can now call itttt…

“The Watchers Took Mumbo, Holy Shit”!Au (TWTMHS!Au for short/j)

What i was TOTALLY thinking (and wasn’t fabricated and put together within the last day), is that maybe Mumbo was taken from Season 10?

The Watchers took him a few weeks pre-game and the hermits have been wondering where he went.

But Grian, he has a feeling that this has to do with Life Series (because someone ALWAYS disappears, and that means the beginning of the purge/j) in some way. So Grian was fully expecting to see Mumbo AT the game

But the confusion in Grian’s mind triples when he realizes:

“Mumbo isn’t here?”

..

And with Mumbo? He’s probably being kept in a bird cage or some sort of imprisonment. Guarded by the watchers, while he awkwardly tries to wrack his brain around the concept of Watchers.

Constant questions. Constant lack of answers…

Obviously, Mumbo’s seen brief mentions of ‘Watchers’ in books, but he didn’t realize they were real. (he may be getting an existential crisis over this too/j)

He doesn’t know how long he’ll be kept there, but oh boy, he feels rather sick, anxiety bubbling in his chest as the wait grows longer and longer

When your messed up and already convoluted system of sorting players (or “curses”) are beginning to do what they’re not supposed to … You have to look into the source more closely, and deal with the issue while it’s still fresh.
