#multitasker verse

After gaining several new mutuals from AA and post P5 settings and getting interested in tacking P5 from a complete detective point of view, I created a verse which happens during P5 but can be altered in other universes and crossovers and the full version of Post P5 verse. I’m rather proud how these two turned out to be and hope to use these soon! ^^

NAOTO THE MULTITASKER AU (Happens after Post P4, Naoto is 20 ->)

After joining Shadow Operatives for real after graduating to get the extra boost for her future detective career and spending many years with the former S.E.E.S. Naoto realizes that her heart belongs to the peculiar cases instead of normal ones. Her one-year trial at Okina PD seemed surprisingly dull without the daily Shadow investigations and “ordinary” cases she tackled there and she felt like something was missing. When asking the advice from her colleagues Mitsuru and Akihiko and the old friend of her parents she decides to combine careers both to pursue full happiness.

She ends up juggling two occupations: being a full-fledged member of Shadow Operatives and taking occasional cases from the side branch of Tokyo Detectives from Iwatodai when she has extra time on her hands. She also occasionally travels abroad or in Japan to investigate supernatural activity there or to consulate in several crime cases which catch her eye. Despite having twice the effort than in one day job she feels she lives her life to the fullest.

I'm using this verse for the ones where Naoto doesn't join the Phantom Squad during the events of P5 but can be asked to investigate it or for the events that happen in Ace Attorney or other series alongside post P5 verse - if the events center around 2016 it’s more like that I’ll use this one.

POST PERSONA 5 (Right after Persona 5 verse)

The whole ordeal of Phantom Thieves has ceased in spite of the busy life of Tokyo has never stopped. Like she has experienced earlier, life is “normal” again and more practical. She doesn’t have to juggle her double identity as Velvet the Justice Thief anymore and to her amazement her fame and reputation hasn’t fallen down despite this or the the ordeal of another all-mighty god.

Naoto continues working in Tokyo Detectives and taking side jobs from Shadow Operatives as they have begun to reach out to Naoto after hearing she was involved in Phantom Thieves - only now and then though because they don’t want to overwork the Shirogane heiress. In addition to this she has received several consultation pleads from other cities and she travels a lot more than in her earlier years - both abroad and in Japanese cities.

Even though her career is at the full bloom she keeps in touch with her former partners in crime, current fellow Persona-users and the people she met on that wild year: she couldn’t imagine living a life without them. If this is what full happiness feels like, she doesn’t ever want to stop living like this.
