Tiny, squishy, H/C MCU boys commission for @multiplefandomfan (Thanks for the comm multi!)

Besides thanking the amazing event coordinators @onlymorelove, @festiveferret (I hope you’re enjoying your vacation freeeeret), and @avengersnewb, I want to shamelessly brag about my loot I got from my stocking. 

1. Damn Close by @hollyandvice

Steve's still stunned everytime Tony gets taken. Some part of him thinks he should be expecting it by now given that it's happened at least a dozen times over the last three years they've worked together. It's almost like their enemies don't understand that Tony's a superhero now and that, even if he wasn't, he has a whole team of other superheroes that would come to get him regardless. Really, they should know better. But they don't and he still gets taken on the regular and it all feels so much worse now that they're dating.

The usual frisson of energy that those words elicit in him doesn't come.

Tony gets kidnapped. Steve gets mad. Bad things happen to the kidnappers. Nobody feels bad about it.

2. These Wings Were Made To Fly [Podfic] by @onlymorelove

Steve’s heart ached in pain, and his eyes burned with unshed tears. The first words that came out of his mouth were hoarse and raw. “What’s wrong with my wings ma?”

His ma wasn’t happy that his translucent wings turned to something colorful when he finally came of age for it to molt; she looked terrified when she looked at them. He knew that, with the way Sarah looked at them, his wings weren’t something to be proud of, no matter how beautiful he initially thought they were.

Sarah slowly walked over to him, trying to mask her fear and her sadness, coming up to hug him. But he noticed that that hug was slightly more impassioned; she was drawing away from him.

“Black wings are bad luck,” she said into his ear. “They remind people of death. Don’t ever show anybody your wings.”

3. Broken by @alwaysabrighterdarkness

Steve quickly realized that this wasn’t like his previous experiences with pain. He wasn’t able to shut it out and shove it into the mental compartment like he usually did with injuries. He was still so raw and on edge, weeks later. His body was healed but his mind wouldn’t let it go.

Prompt: Steve or Tony gets kidnapped and tortured, the other person finds him. Established relationship, caring after aftermath of torture (PTSD, nightmares, shaking?)

There are flowers tucked between the rope and his skin, beautiful white and purple orchid flowers standing out starkly against his fair skin. He leaks because Tony is right: they look beautiful. Steve looks up to see Tony staring at him lovingly, and he swallows, his Adam’s apple bobbing.
