“Goddammit,” he growls, pushing harder on the counter and balancing on his tippy toes. “I just want some fucking milk. I hate this Haus.”Â

Pat peered around the door to Jon’s office, knocking on the frame.
“Hey, Jon?” He called, smiling softly. “We’re going out for lunch, you and me. And we’re going now, okay?” Pat pulled a face at him, holding out his hand.
After their conversation, he’d been getting worried about Jon. He wasn’t sure exactly what he could do to help, but taking him out for lunch couldn’t hurt.
