Ok with @multifandomteddybear we decided some stuff ! (We don't share the same HC continuity but through talks we liked to pick some things from each other here and there)
1) I no longer call vampire-human children Moroi but Dhampirs, makes more sense
2) Coun Frakula is now an old and weak borderline senile Vrykolaka, he was starting to be when he got locked up in his coffin because sadly for him he stopped aging too old, and being locked up in a coffin for centuries didn't help with no access of blood making him paler, lose his bottom canines and even dizzier, even if still a jerks
3) but when he was younger he was awful and essentially Walpurg if he were more subtle and less crazy not to bring attention upon himself
4) Walpurg is his son, hence why he is in that castle and has his nose. That's also because he is still alive Walpurg is not a Count, you become one only when your father die. Walpurg wanted the castle for himself and wouldn't have minded killing him but he knew this would bring suspicions so he went more subtley and denounced his father to other vampires playing good boy façade so that they lock him up and he gets the castle, NOW he could do whatever atrocity himself wanted
5) obviously they never liked each other. Evil was genetic and not the cartoonish kind like I had in other families in my fandoms
6) the mother is that Mary Frakula had known he mentions. And I always felt like it hinted it was a woman he had bitten so we can imagine she was a human he vampirized into a Vrykolakas to force her marry him. She never liked him, and never liked the son he made her. Mutual. A loveless family Frakula still liked to have as a control freak and to look normal and unsuspecting to others and have a heir in case for whatever reason even if he often taunted him to be THE big owner and big boss when he still had all his mind. When Frakula got locked up, Walpurg wanted to kick her out but she was already gone by herself
7) Frakula's name is Brad. Similar to Bram I initially wanted to give him, similar to Vlad to parody it, and hilarious since it's usually a sexy name given to an old senile fuck
8) the vampire emissary's name is Sir William of Dogberry. References to Shakespeare because he looks lile him. Walpurg and him essentially are W + W
