Happy 119th bornday to Chancellor Williams (Dec. 22nd, 1898- December 7, 1992), a black/African historian, sociologist, writer and author of the Destruction of Black Civilization: Great Issues of a Race From 4500 BC to 2000 AD in 1971. It took 16 years of researching and filed studying for Chancellor Williams to have all of the information on African history put together for the destruction of Black Civilization book. He did his field researching, in 1956, on African history at Ghana's University College. In 1935, Williams was also an administrative principal for the Cheltenham School for Boys in Maryland. In 1939, he became a teacher in the Washington DC public schools. On December 7, 1992, Williams passed away die to respiratory failure.
