Muffins for Moms was the first thing to be Covid Canceled back in March, right before schools closed. Yesterday my sweet little first grader, who was heartbroken that his kindergarten year was cut short, said “I miss muffins for moms” ... and you know I couldn’t let that stand. This morning we got double chocolate muffins and drinks and ate out on the grass by a church near our house. We listened to music and danced around and made the early morning landscaping crews laugh at us. Highly recommended. Yesterday I wore a button from Corey and the kids that said, "Best. Mom. Ever." It was perfect lol. I woke up to the sweetest message from my Dad. I had a great mom and my Dad does both jobs now. I appreciate Corey's Mom and all the mentor moms that have helped fill in since. AND let's not forget Corey...he works so hard every day so that I can be the best stay-at-home mommy to our littles. And props to God for teaching us so many lessons that we didn't even know we needed to learn...while raising these tiny humans.
