Whenever times seemed drab or one was in dire need of a pick-me-up, they’d always head to a shop in town and snack on a crepe or two. There was no they this time, though. Haruka was not being acquainted by her best friend Tomochika, nor were they sharing laughs and brushing off every care in the world with a bright smile. Of course, she had missed the members of Starish too, but not as much as she had with Tomochika. After she debuted they hardly were able to see each other. That sort of obstacle in the middle of a close friendship was disappointing, yet inescapable in the music industry. She just had wished she was able to see her recently before she got forced into this unfortunate string of events.
Feeling rather sentimental in that wave of emotions, she found herself entering the shopfront of a bakery unknown to her. The aroma of baked goods wafted in the air and set forward a twinge of happiness within Haruka. From that alone, she was able to tell that the bakery was well kept for and a lot of love was put into its upkeep. Now, to actually try them.
She walked forward to the register as she adjusted the purse strap slung around her shoulder.
“Hello! I came here to buy a crepe originally, but I’d love to buy anything else you’d recommend. It all looks very good.”
