Boost is a great cook. I don't know why, but I think he can make anything and it'll be damn delicious.
Snot Rod is good with baking. He doesn't bake very often, but he can occasionally bake something tasty for a movie, for example.
Wingo is an average cook. He's not very good at cooking European cuisine (like steaks, etc.), but he's good at seafood and Asian street food.
DJ can cook something basic (boil pasta, reheat some convenience foods), simply because he's too lazy to bother with cooking and wants to get it over with as quickly as possible.

It's simple - they are freedom-loving. Especially DJ. They are hooligans who love to disrupt public order, and do not always live within the law. When fate gives such guys a child, most often nothing good comes out of it. Needless to say that they know nothing at all about children except that they constantly yell and cause problems? They just don't want to say goodbye to freedom. With the opportunities it gives, they don't want to grow up that much. Minori is like a snowball for them that ruins all their plans, especially for Wingo. And deep down, Wingo hates it. And in this situation, it’s easier for DJ to pretend that this is not his child and Wingo (for some reason) does not condemn him for this.
