Techworld Plaza (8th Street) in DC Chinatown, looking north toward the recently restored Carnegie library, which was the central library in Washington, DC between 1903 and the early 1970’s. This library is named for the steel baron, Andrew Carnegie, gave away 90% of his fortune to charity, including funding a few thousand public libraries in the United States. The building is currently home to the DC History Center, upstairs, and the Carnegie Gallery of historic photos, in the basement. #DChistorycenter #CarnegieGallery #DCcarnegielibrary #TechWorldPlaza #MtVernonSquareDC #DCconventionCenter #dctours #dctour #DCtrip #WashingtonDCtrip #WashingtonDCtour #WashingtonDCtours #WashingtonDCtravel #WashingtonDCvacation #NationalMallTravel #WashingtonDCbusinessTrip (at Carnegie Library of Washington D.C.) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cgb1396L8UH/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
