The walls built and used at the samurai homes were used of volcanic rocks from the surrounding volcanoes. They were made to prevent thieves and each had their own unique shape. Successfully summited Mt Unzen’s highest safe point. It goes a bit higher but due to toxic gas and eruption danger we aren’t allowed on the true summit. Overall it was a fascinating trip. The mountain turned pink with flowers and I was able to see a variety of interesting plants and animals!
