One of the must see night views in Hokkaido, a spectacular view of the city illuminated in darkness and stretches as far as the eye can see from Mt.Hakodate. In this shot, a blood moon and supermoon event is occurring as well, with the last vestige of sunlight setting behind the valley near the moon. I have often returned to Hakodate and Mt.Hakodate to enjoy the night view and the city, with scrumptious seafood, friendly locals and always more to explore, Hakodate is a great city to visit.
