Once, while out, she comes across X playing with a dead mouse and that's when she realizes - X doesn't have any real toys. So she makes it her mission to craft him a whole bunch of toys.

She starts off with something pretty simple: a feather on a stick. The next time she finds X alone, she waves the feather around, but X stays interested for a grand total of 5 seconds before going to roll around in a pile of sand. 0/10, she needs to find something better.

Animals like to play with balls, right? She melts and dyes some rubber into a colorful bouncy ball. At first, Mi-an just has X play fetch with the ball, which he enjoys okayish, but once he figures out it bounces??? He's sold. He adores it. It's officially his new favorite plaything. He flies up high into the sky, drops the ball and chases after it wherever it bounces off to. Fang has to ban the bouncy ball from inside the clinic after X destroys one of his experiments chasing it. Mi-an actually shows up to the clinic to apologize in person after that and Fang doesn't know what to do because she made a toy?? for X??? She plays with him??? Of her own volition??? So he ends up just asking her to make the next one less destructive. 9/10 because of the property damage.

Crows are really smart animals, so how about a puzzle? Mi-an builds X one of those pegs and holes puzzles they make for babies out of colorful wood. X figures out the trick within 10 minutes and then proceeds to fit every single peg into the square hole to piss off onlookers. 5/10.

One day, Fang walks into the Blue Moon to find Mi-an at a table with X, a bag of dried dates and three opaque cups. She puts a date under the middle one, shuffles them under X's watchful eye and asks him "where is it?" X pecks the left cup and declares "I won!" Mi-an lifts the cups to reveal the date was actually under the right cup and says "nope, sorry. I won." She notices Fang and offers him to try himself. X wins the first round against Fang and happily eats his treat while cheering "I won!" 8/10, keeps him busy for hours but requires active human involvment.

Despite everything, X remains a bird of prey. He needs something to stimulate his hunting instinct - ideally something that doesn't involve bringing half-dead mice into the clinic. Since he likes to play with small rodents, Mi-an builds him a little mechanical mouse where you turn a key and it rolls on its own. It's a little slow for X and doesn't function all that well in the sand, but doesn't require human involvment as he figures out how to turn the key himself in under quarter an hour. 7,5/10.
