He was damned. He was sure of it.

And yet, the more he thought about, the more he was certain about what he felt. His mother believed that he was feeling nothing more than an INFATUATION, and while it was certainly a hindrance, it wasn’t uncommon. But he had made up his mind to follow her, even if it meant turning down a promotion. It was a FRIGHTENING concept to fall for a woman with a son and husband. But if there was one thing that Thranduil knew, it was fighting for something he believed in.

His cousin was a receptive and open-minded woman, and it was there where he stayed while he waited feverishly for a response. Even a single WORD would have been welcome, if only to release him from the silent torment. It took all of his control not to call on her. Her husband was respected and well-known, and he didn’t want to risk tarnishing her reputation. As far as society was concerned, they were still both virtuous people, and he intended to keep any STAIN from her name. He loved her far too much for that.

The recent attacks proved that the Templars were far from finished, and with the threat they now posed, it was now or never. He’d called for a meeting of ALL Kingsmen agents to discuss the problem, and so far, they’d agreed that this was a more important issue than any of the missions on their respective rosters. 

All but one, apparently. 

Thranduil ( now the ‘Arthur’ of the Kingsmen ) paced the meeting room, while images of the Templars’ plans flashed across the screen. Even Merlin’s face was grim as he watched clips of the news reports, and when the two looked at each other, their expressions said it all. Do it.

He slid a hand over Mary’s shoulder, squeezing it. Tristan slapped his hands on the table before setting his favorite stuffed dragon on it, oblivious to the DANGER that his father spoke of.

From the look she gave him and the set of her jaw, he knew that she was going. The last time one of them went on a mission, the other spent nearly a year growing insane. Since then, they realized that their best chance was TOGETHER. Live or die, succeed or fail, they worked best as a team. And since the Assassins had promised their help in destabilizing the Templars once and for all, he wasn’t worried that Ah Tabai would be against it. Besides, Ah Tabai was going to be the one to hide Tristan in case neither he nor Mary returned, so there was very little he could say to sway either of them. 

Both of them also knew that the probability of them reliving that NIGHTMARE again was very high. But since Tristan, they knew that they would do whatever was necessary to keep him safe. To make the world he would grow up in a safer place to live. If that meant that they would go all out and eradicate every last Templar in the world, then so be it. 

The bite of her nails on the back of his palm as she returned his squeeze told him that she was probably thinking the same thing. Fixing Kay a stern look, he looked at the other agents and the few Assassins that decided to attend.

How long will they last? - How long do fairies and Elves live? 

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - I’m guessing they’ll fall in love veeeeerrrryy slowly. I mean they’re both focusing on keeping their kingdoms safe, plus war can put a damper on romance. 

How was their first kiss? - They haven’t had one yet. But I imagine Mary would steal a kiss and just dart off before he can say anything. *squints at said faerie*

Wedding:

Who proposed? - I imagine they did at the same time? Like Mary was about to ask him if he’s going to marry her just as he took the ring from out of his robes.

Who is the best man? - Feren, possibly.

Who is the bride’s maid? - Probably Mary’s closest friend or confidante.

Who did the most planning? - Mary. And she hates that Thranduil didn’t help. At all.

Who stressed the most? - They both did. 

How fancy was the ceremony? - Kate and William wish they were this big. It can’t be helped. He’s an extravagant person when he wants to be.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - Anything and anyone who has to do with Sauron. 

Sex:

Who is on top? - Huh. Tough one. I think it’s whoever wins their little foreplay tussle, because they’re both dominant.

Who is the one to instigate things? - Whoever is in the mood. The other one almost always responds. Or retaliates.

How healthy is their sex life? - It’s between 9 and “They are humping each other on the couch right now.” It’s scandalous. But they won’t do it if they’re in the middle of a war.

How kinky are they? - 6. I don’t know about Mary but…Thranduil doesn’t know a lot of kinks.

How long do they normally last? - Until sunrise.

Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - They try. 

How rough are they in bed? - The bed’s shaking and squeaking every time. Also, the wall’s so weak it could collapse the next time they do it.

How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? - 8. Thranduil’s a huge snuggle butt. 

Children:

How many children will they have naturally? - ….2?

How many children will they adopt? - They’d need to discuss this first. 

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - Thranduil. He doesn’t know how to change diapers, sadly.

Who is the stricter parent? - Mary. The kids know if they can’t get their mother to agree, they just need to run to their father.

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Whoever sees the kid first. 

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - Mary. 

Who is the more loved parent? - Mary. But only by a slim margin, since the kids see more of her than Thranduil.

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - Both of them. Especially if the report is a little worrying. 

Who cried the most at graduation? - Mary. It was the one time he saw her cry happy tears.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - They both would. 

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - Mary. Thranduil doesn’t step inside the kitchen unless absolutely necessary.

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Thranduil. He’s picky to the point where his food has to be cooked a certain way.

Who does the grocery shopping? - They don’t do this; they rely on servants to gather food for them.

How often do they bake desserts? - Everyday.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - They’re salad eaters.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Mary’s more spontaneous.

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Thranduil. Usually it’s for star gazing or an impromptu picnic at a nearby overlook point.

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? - THRANDUIL.

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - Neither. They let the servants do that.

Who is really against chores? - Thranduil. It’s not that he’s against it; he hasn’t just done it before.

Who cleans up after the pets? - Whoever owns the pet.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Thranduil. He gets bored with cleaning and wants it over. 

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Neither.

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - On the rare occasion that they do clean, it would be Mary. Thranduil can be a little careless when it comes to loose jewels.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Thranduil. He can take hours sometimes.

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - They don’t have a dog. 

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Once. Even though Thranduil wants to re-decorate it every other week. 

What are their goals for the relationship? - Always together, never apart. >:) 

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Mary, maybe. Or Thranduil, if he doesn’t have anything to do the next day.
