❤️Milo❤️

Milo the Boodoo mime has loved circuses ever since he was a Monsterling. But mimes always stood out to him the most. He loved how they looked, their acts, and how they could be so expressive without saying a single word. As a Monsterling who barely spoke, he resonated with them, wanting to perform fun and expressive acts too. So that's what he did years later - he became a mime and joined Gigi's traveling circus! He heavily emphasizes body language and expresses himself through movement.

They don't perform in huge, loud, crowded places, as it stresses Milo out a lot. He much prefers smaller crowds in quieter places, or just performing on the street. To lessen the possibility of sensory overload, he wears earplugs when performing in slightly noisier spaces. He opts for ear defenders outside of performing.

Outside of the circus, he loves drawing and painting, but he doesn't show many of his art pieces to anyone except Gigi. However, if you wanted your face painted or your makeup done, Milo is the Monster to ask - he'll make your makeup look perfect! (Although he'll be embarrassed and bashful upon receiving compliments.) Most of the time, he's the one who does Gigi's makeup before performances.

Instead of dolls, Milo likes to collect stuffies, plushies, and pillows. He has lots of his valuable stuffies on shelves in his room, and his bed is lined up with plushies and pillows of every kind. He also always has at least three blankets on his bed - being surrounded by soft fluffy things makes him feel safe and comfy. He's not afraid to lend anyone a pillow or two if they need it, as long as it's not one he holds dear to him.

Home cooking isn't for Milo, but he does like to watch other Monsters cook. Sometimes he'll help out with smaller tasks, but he doesn't see himself ever fully teaching himself how to cook. His sensory issues restrict his diet a little bit, but most of the time it isn't such a big deal because he always has plenty of safe foods stocked up. But any changes in safe food recipes make him upset and stressed.

He also likes to write, but he doesn't show anyone his writings - not even Gigi, he doesn't want her to be worried about him because he does write some deep stuff sometimes as well as private thoughts and feelings.

As a Monsterling, Milo's parents never took the time to understand him, they ridiculed him and made him feel worthless. But once he met Gigi, everything changed for the better. Gigi went off on Milo's parents for all the emotional trauma they caused him, and she took lots of time to research and truly understand her best friend.

Milo communicates mostly through body movement and text-to-speech. He also likes to use his art pieces to express his feelings and emotions. A lot of his paintings and drawings have deep meaning behind them.

Although he does own the usual Boodoo instruments, Milo doesn't play music as often as other Monsters do. A lot of the time, he just likes to shake the hand shakers or tap/bash them together because he likes the sound they make. Fun, but not overwhelming. He also likes to shake his head shakers when he's happy. Again, he likes the sound, it's fun and not overwhelming for him.

Sudden changes to his schedule or daily routine, or when things don't go according to plan, catch him off guard and give him lots of stress. When this happens, to him it feels like all sense of balance is completely lost.

When in the midst of a meltdown, he hates when other Monsters stare at him or crowd around him. In moments he feels more vulnerable, he prefers to be in a quiet, isolated space with only one or two Monsters he really trusts, like Gigi. Having one good friend plus a plushie or two brings him comfort.

As long as you treat him the same way everyMon else should be treated, he's a very fun and pleasant Monster to be around. He may be a little shy when meeting someone new, but he warms up to them fairly quickly.

💛Gigi💛

Gigi is an energetic Piplash clown who brings whimsy and joy wherever she goes. There's never a dull moment when she's around! She's very passionate about her job and puts her heart into every act. She loves to sing, dance, tell jokes, and pull off all kinds of silly stunts.

Gigi is generally a very joyful Mon, not only lightening up rooms with her fun vibes, but she's also there for any Monster who's sad or down, and she knows there's a time and place for jokes. Aside from being the happy and funny one, she's also never afraid to stick up for herself or her friends - she even had the courage to tell off Milo's parents for the trauma they caused him in the past. She hates when bad people get away scot-free.

When she and Milo aren't performing, Gigi likes to play card games in her free time. Anything from Go-Fish to Solitaire to Uno - she enjoys it all. Another favorite thing to kill time is baking. She loves to bake cakes and cookies with fun, colorful frosting designs. Oftentimes, there's an abundance of sweet treats in the fridge that never seem to go away. Sometimes she even sells her baked goods during shows.

Usually, Gigi will avoid arranging shows in big, crowded places because she knows it'll likely cause Milo to get sensory overload. Both of them would much rather act for smaller groups of Monsters or just on the street. They have a travel schedule they always try to follow - they travel to a new Island every Sunday. Because of this, their home is mobile!

Gigi's childhood wasn't too bad, but also not great - being an unstable Workshop Ethereal, she doesn't have biological parents because she was synthesized rather than being bred. When she hatched, a Rhysmuth decided to adopt her and take care of her, so she was Gigi's parental figure growing up. But throughout her childhood and adolescence, she didn't get much attention from other Monsters, she felt like she was just kinda there just to be there - a mere background character. She had few friends, but then when she turned 18, she met Milo. When she learned about Milo's special interest in circuses and mimes, she decided to start her own circus so she could entertain Monsters all over the Monster World and get the attention she's always wanted, and let Milo live out his dream and join her as the circus mime. She plans to add another Monster or two to the circus troupe, but not too many.

Admittedly, I haven’t partaken in many celebrations. The first time we did this, I actually didn’t show up (you can see that in this video).

The years after that, I told the other monsters that it went against my religious beliefs to celebrate. This is a lie (I don’t have any religious beliefs) but since I am based on a religion, they bought it for two years. This is why my “rare” got the seasonal costume instead of me, and why I don’t have a seasonal costume in general.

The truth is that I didn’t want to have to eat in front of other monsters, but this year I made all of them promise to not look at me when we ate. So here I am.
