(( @koishis I mean...I /GUESS/ I'm not surprised about that. The same thing happened when I tried to theorise the DR3 deaths,and I got all but two or three wrong; Gekkogahara was dead from the start,Mitarai made it and Asahina was "dead" at the time so I presumed that she'd stay dead. I mean,when you think about it logically,it has to be characters who would make sense in the narrative,right? So obviously muscular characters with big hearts will die in the series no matter what (Sakura,Nekomaru,Great Gozu,Bandai,and I'm guessing Bug Boy). All white haired characters in the series always die and none have survived (Sakura,Peko,Komaeda,and probs Angie/Artist Girl) EXCEPT for Munakata,but he was originally planned to die anyways so... Yeah. Any character who has the ability to grab the fandom's/Tumblr's attention WILL die (Fujisaki,Nanami,Komaeda,Seiko etc). So obviously Ouma/Amami are out since they're the most popular next to Saihara and Kaede. The only exception to this rule is Mitarai,but he tried to fuck up the world near the end,so yeah. And then,any character who has a darker skin tone will survive for the sake of representation; however,Angie already has an arts-related talent,which as we all know,has a lot of dead people involved already (Sayaka,Yamada,Koizumi,Ibuki,Hiyoko,etc etc). The only exception to this rule is Fukawa,who specialises in literature,which is...well,not a visual art. But everybody else IS specialised in a visual art. Plus,since Angie has white hair,she's PROBABLY going to die,as much as I'd hate it. We'll still have Kiibo for robo-representation though. Anyone who seems suspicious at first glance (Komaeda,Gundham and Celestia) will eventually die,so Amami is already dead for now,as well as our folklorist and POSSIBLY Saihara. And now,anybody dank enough to be a meme on tumblr has a 50/50 chance of survival. If they match any criteria above AND they're a popular meme,then they're dead (Komaeda). If they don't meet the criterias above but are still a dank meme,they're most likely to survive (Hinata). Well,that's how I analysed the DR3 characters,really. I just watch for Tumblr's reaction and then I look at their appearances.))
