Biyu Li grew up under the care of a formidable mob enforcer mother and learned all the tricks of staying afloat in the criminal world from her; as an adult, she has done everything in her power to stay in peak physical and mental condition, becoming proficient in weapons and cellular technology and able to run faster than any woman her age.  As Black Mask’s closest associate, her job is to keep him informed on costumed activity throughout the city and make sure his weapons stockpile is all in one clean piece, as well as teaching new henchmen how to use them, but her most regular unofficial duty is simply to keep her boss in check.  Ms. Li’s cool, elegant demeanor and penchant for subtle, but cutting remarks makes her an effective foil to Sionis’s hotblooded tendencies, and his trust in her goes so far that she is the only person in Gotham who can criticize him and live to tell the tale.
