Hey Patton, what's for breakfast?
@the-opal-essence said: Patton might start getting concerned that he hasnât seen Virgil for a while. He might go to check on Virgil in his room and see that heâs missing. If he asks if you or Logan have seen him, how do you plan to explain his absence without raising suspicion? (Hang in there, Virgil. Patton will not rest until his wonderful strange dark son is safe)

@skeletonsloverockcandy said: Are Logan and Roman going down to breakfast? Is Patton going to try to get Anxiety to come out as well? Virgil, if you hear Patton pass by, scream as loud as possible!!
Anonymous said: Don't you think Patton is going to notice Virgil's absence? I know Virgil probably spends s lot of time in his room but, those are some awfully important events coming up. It would just be weird for anxiety to take a back seat all of the sudden. Also, since Patton is emotions wouldn't he be able to feel that Thomas isn't as anxious as he normally would be?
@ms-quartzy said: Hello, everyone. Creativity, Logic, I must say that I cannot condone what you are doing, but I would like to enquirer on how, exactly, you plan to deal with what happens when Morality inevitably questions where Anxiety is, or finds out exactly what you are doing. -Quartzy.

The scent of sausage and pancakes was thick in the air by the time they descended the stairs to the commons, and they shared a guilty look. They were normally down long before Patton finished cooking.Â
When they got to the kitchen, the food was already plated and sitting out at the table. Patton was staring down at his plate, unmoving. Roman cleared his throat, and the Heart jumped, banging his knee on the underside of the table.Â
âOh! There you guys are!â He gave them a grin, rubbing at his knee. âI was a little worried!â
âAre you⌠quite alright, Patton?â Logan asked, moving to sit.Â
âOh, yeah! Just a little lost in thought, thatâs all.â Patton passed him the jelly, his smile softening slightly as Logan enthusiastically popped the lid off.Â
Roman sat down as well, mood already brightened by Pattonâs presence. The Heart had that effect on people. âWhatever could be consuming your thoughts, my dear Patton?âÂ
âWellâŚâ Patton poked at his pancake with a fork. âI stopped by Anxietyâs room to invite him down, but he didnât answerâŚâÂ
Busy pushing sausage bits around his plate, he missed the panicked glance the other two Sides shared. Logan cleared his throat awkwardly.
âIs that not normal behavior for him? I wasnât under the impression that he wanted to attend our breakfasts.âÂ
Roman nodded emphatically, and Patton sighed again, rubbing at his face.
âYeah, he doesnât come out very often, but⌠Normally, heâll greet me back, or at least respond in the negative. He hasnât even been taking the leftovers Iâve been leaving for him.â He explained. âIâm kind of worried I accidentally offended him?â
âWhat?â Roman shouted, not having to fake his indignation. âWhat could you possibly have done to offend him, Padre, youâre practically an angel!â
âI dunno⌠Have either of you talked to him recently? Maybe he said something that would explain it?âÂ
â... No, I havenât heard anything from him indicating that he believes you are at fault for anything.â Logan said carefully.Â
âNor me!â Roman tacked on. âThough if he does say such a thing, I will be sure to defend your honor most valiantly!âÂ
His extravagant fork-gesturing paused as Patton gave him a look. He cleared his throat.Â
â... Rather, I will come speak to you about it so you can resolve the problem!â
âSounds perfect!â Patton smiled, and despite the close call, everything seemed normal again.
